The Top 8 Cheese Steaks in Philadelphia

A retard’s guide (or non-Philadelphian’s guide) on the correct way to order a cheese steak:
1. Say the name of the cheese you want
2. Say “with” or “without” (meaning with or without fried onions)
3. Example: A cheese steak with American cheese and fried onions= American with

Pat's? Geno's? Those are for tourists and belong nowhere on a top 10 list. Walk a few blocks from 9th and Passyunk and check out Cosmi's. They use Sarcone rolls and are without a doubt the best in the city.

ReplyDeleteI'm a tourist and since all I know is Pat's and Geno's I will go with Pat's, hands down. I did the deal where you buy one from each and eat it...Geno's doesn't pass the test in terms of travel. It's edible but Pat's had me groaning with delight (pause) days afterwards, cold, re-heated, etc...
