Shut Up, Dummy
Stop it. Enough is enough.I don't know how many more times I can hear this before I stab myself in the ears with a spoon.
Over the last two years, how many times have you heard some variation of the following: "Bob Sanders is out this week for the Colts. It'll be a tough game for them if he's not in the lineup. It's tough to overcome the loss of such an impact player and emotional leader like that of Sanders".

Offseason Wish List
It's the most wonderful time of the year, baseball's offseason! It's like an extra Christmas, where instead of getting awesome presents like pogs, Pokemon cards and TurboGrafx-16, we get great baseball players!Stop Me If You've Heard This One Before
This morning's front page of philly.com made a rather familiar statement - Phils Still in the Running for Halladay. That's right, the trade deadline deal that never was seems like a possibility again.
Obviously the offseason has just begun and this is nothing more than a rumor, but it sure does get you excited for the next year.

Eagles 16, Cowboys 20: Pointing Fingers!
Okay, so we lost to the Cowboys. Take a breath, let it roll around your mindgrapes for a while -- accept it. Acceptance is the first step. The second? Blame.
I could go ahead and point fingers at all of the usual suspects: Donovan McNabb, the refs, Barack Obama, my childhood, the GOP, illegal immigrants, daylight savings time, the BCS, performance enhancing drugs, the illuminati...but I'll save that for another time. For this game -- this loss -- I only have one big finger to point.

Thank You, KSK: Andy Reid O-Face Photoshop Contest
A member of the much better sports blog Kissing Suzy Kolber decided to have some fun with a picture of Andy Reid getting bumped by DeSean Jackson last Sunday. The result: a Photoshop contest and dozens of hilarious Fat Andy pictures.
Oh, the internet. Rick Astley, Kanye West, anything on Tosh.0...what would I do without you?

Phillies Are Champs! (In Indonesia)
Apparently people in Indonesia will think the Phillies are back-to-back champions. So, we have that going for us...which is nice.
Dolla Dolla Bills Yall - Week 9
Hope you guys listened last week. thewizwit.com went an unbelievable 11-2. You're welcome. The Shark expects his cut any day now. Don't keep him waiting.
If he pulls it off again this week, we might have to think about setting up a service here. We can't keep lining your pockets with green, you savages.
Okay, enough of last week. On to your Week 9 NFL Spread Picks!

Links for Friday
As the phucking Yankees celebrate their 1,294th championship (at least it feels like that number) we in Philadelphia are left thinking about next year. So, as you float through this Friday in anticipation for the alcoholic beverages that I'm sure will drown your sorrows this weekend, here are number of interesting links to get you through the day. Oh, and I turn 26 tomorrow, so wish me a happy birthday.
