The Best Philly-Related Tattoos
Last Thursday, our very own Wetz went on a Google image spree and found a disgusting number of people with sports-related tattoos. This week I present: the best Philadelphia-related tats. By the way, there are a ridiculous amount of Liberty Bell tattoos that I refuse to post. Once you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.
Many of the below were found on Philadelphia Weekly's blog. Enjoy.

Philadelphia is America's 3rd Ugliest City
Hahaha suck it, Baltimore & Memphis!
We're also the sixth dumbest, third fattest, and third rudest! Keep drinking, not working out, not reading, and not dressing well and I think we can go for #1 across the board.

How Much Will You Drink Tonight?
Answer: Not as much as those in Milwaukee, Fargo, or Sioux City, Iowa according to The Daily Beast.
New Year’s Eve is upon us and we all know what that means – Amateur Night. I personally don’t get too wrapped up in the NYE scene. Paying stupid high prices and being crammed into a bar on night where more douchebags than normal are out, isn’t really my idea of fun. I’d much rather go to a house party, have a few drinks, and distance myself from all those who piss me off.
Regardless of where you go, who you hang out with, or how many bad decisions you make tonight, have yourself a good time. Considering Philadelphia was good enough to rank on the “Drunkest Cities in America” list, I’m sure you won’t have too much of a problem. But we only rank #20. Mucho disappointing. Check out a gallery of the complete Top 40 here.
What are you waiting for? Get out there and show the rest of the country what you’re made of, damnit! Debauchery is completely acceptable on this night, so do your worst Philadelphia. Show some pride and let’s get ourselves in the top 10 for 2011.
Happy New Year’s sports fans! Have fun and be safe, Philly.

Drunk and High Midnight Mass FondleFest 2010!
Seriously, this chick looks like she got raped by The Joker. According to police, her and Chinpubes Tarantino here "crashed a Midnight Mass in Drexel Hill on Christmas Eve...stumbled down the aisle, fondled each other in a pew and flushed drugs down the church toilet." Okay sounds like the kids had some fun...why so serious??
Oh, probably because they had 43 random pills, plastic vials, and a shitload of heroin on them when the cops came. I'm guessing these two will be a little more low-key next time they attempt to rob a church on Christmas. Didn't white people see First Sunday? Even airbrushed Ice Cube knows it's a bad idea to get fucked up before an attempted church robbery. For shame, Alexander Pirone and Catherine McGrath of Upper Darby. For shame.

Thank God We're Not Cleveland
As a Philadelphia fan since birth, I know sports heartache. For 24 years, I either watched my teams get close only to rip my heart out with some tremendously terrible way to lose or watched them suck so bad that it left you wondering how the hell a team could suck so bad. When it comes to sports misery, I've had more than my fair share. But nothing, absolutely nothing, that we've gone through as Philadelphia fans compares to what those poor Cleveland sports fans have been (and are being) put through. As a fan of another "cursed" sports city, I just can't help but feel bad for them.Wednesday, April 14, 2010
McNabb Still Stealing Philadelphia's Money
See this Donovan McNabb jersey wearing fellow to the left? Apparently, despite his taste in awesome 'throwback' jerseys, he isn't too bright. This man tried to rob a bank today. He apparently decided it was unimportant to cover his face in any way. Probably not the best way to get away with a robbery, but what do I know. After a security camera captured his face, a FBI spokesman said this:
"These are probably the best bank robbery pictures we've seen."
So if you happen to see Captain Brilliant today, call the FBI at 215-418-4000.
On a lighter note, I found it funny that he would choose to wear a #5 jersey to rob a bank. I'm going to assume he wore it as a metaphor for the 11 years of possible championships that McNabb robbed from all us Eagles fans. Zing!

Phillies Fans: Please Don't Suck
Let me start this off by saying this isn't a Cole Hamels apologist article. I, just like most fans, am frustrated by his first two starts. While the Nationals offense isn't nearly as bad as the casual baseball fan would think, it still isn't the Yankees. A 5.00+ERA isn't going to cut it and he knows that. If his ERA is still over 5.00 in May, you can be worried. Until then, let's just give him a chance.Let me also say that this probably won't have any actual effect on Phillies fans. But I need to get this off my chest.

Legal Fantasy Sports Betting Coming to Philly
FanDuel, a site owned by UK-based social gaming company Hubdub, has recently reached its first ever deal with a US newspaper: The Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly.com.
So what does this mean? Well, soon you’ll be able to bet…money…on fantasy sports through Philly.com. And instead of having to wait through the whole damn season to get your duckets, FanDuel specializes in single-day “one-night-stand” fantasy sports. So you pick your fantasy team, bet real money on them, and if they prevail you win real money in return. Gambling!
So how is this legal you ask? Well, according to the 2006 Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act, betting on fantasy sports online isn’t illegal. This is because fantasy sports requires more skill than chance (I guess) and generally takes an entire season to play out. But in the case of FanDuel these contests only last one day for MLB games or one week for NFL games. Genius!
While at the moment there is a $25 cap on bets, this is still great news all of us sports fans with loose morals. Plus, because most newspapers are behind on their rent at the poorhouse, this may take off nationwide as a quick revenue-building scheme. But Philadelphia gets it first. Godegenerate and desperate Philly!

Lonely Niners Fans vs. Thousands of Snowballs...WHO YA GOT?
Oh, how I love Philadelphia. In the perfect follow-up to my rant on how Philly fans are depicted nationally, here is a clip of 49ers fans getting assaulted with a barrage of snowballs from last Sundays game. Pure magic.

It just doesn't end! So many snowballs!
