He's Baaaaaaaaaack!

Allen Iverson is back. AI informed the Sixers this morning that he will be returning to the Sixers after a two and a half year absence. He will make his return on Monday against the Nuggets.

While this move isn't about basketball, although Ed Stefanski will tell you it is, I still like it. I've been a huge Sixers fan since 1993, the first year my family got season tickets. It sucks to go into that building and see a half empty arena every time, especially with the exciting years of the early 2000's still fresh in my mind. Bringing Iverson back won't make this team good, they need much more than a mid-thirties shooting guard to turn this team around, but he will bring back a level of excitement that's been gone since he left.


Honestly, I recommend getting tickets for Monday nights game if possible. One of Philadelphia greatest athletes is returning, maybe not under the ideal circumstances, but he is returning just the same. As a fan, you aren't going to want to miss this.
