This was the splash page to Fox Sports' MLB section this morning. Some idiot got paid to write this article. Think about that. I know sports is at its "slow time" right now. But seriously, an article entitled "10 Guys Who Would Look Good In Pinstripes"?
Bob Klapisch, have you no pride?
In case you’re wondering, Mr. Klapisch just took (for the most part) any big-time star that’s currently not on the Yankees, and put them on the list. So here's your Top 10 in all of its' editorial genius - Prince Fielder, Tim Lincecum, Pujols, Joe Mauer, Dustin Pedroia, John Lackey, Carl Crawford, Cliff Lee, Carlos Beltran, and Johnny Damon.
First off, those guys aren't even all free agents. Second, where would the Yankees even play Pujols? Teixeira is locked up for a long time, and they're already a team full of future DH's. And if you're going to name a bunch of great players, why no Phillies, jerkoff?
You sir, are a dope for putting this colossally pointless article out there, and we are all now dumber for having read it.
But I'm sure all of New York has a raging, massive erection right now. So thanks for that.
