Sixers To Do Something That Actually Makes Sense?

Philly.com is reporting that the 76ers pretty much can't wait to fire coach Eddie Jordan. Sources are also indicating that GM Ed Stefanski's position will be "seriously evaluated".

That might be the best decision this team has made all season.

The source is quoted as saying:

One of these sources also characterized Comcast-Spectacor chairman Ed Snider as "up in arms" about Jordan's coaching effort, with another source with intimate knowledge of the management's thinking calling Jordan's coaching "baffling."
Change at the top can't be a bad thing with Jordan most certainly gone and Stefanski a real possibility to pack his bags as well.

Granted, this team is still capped out through next season, but hopefully changing the philosophy will do wonders. The Princeton offense was a bad idea from the start. (Which we told you would end badly in our NBA preview).

What's really sad is how terrible the NBA is as a whole. You would think a team with only 23 wins at this point in the season would be in line for a lot of ping pong balls come draft time. Instead there are 8 other teams right now with worse records. Don't hold out hope John Wall falls in our laps folks. Or that Jay Wright is coming to coach.

Just hope the next guy that comes in will last more than one season.
