If you asked me to sum up the Eagles first half, I could do it in one sentence: They lost to the Raiders. Now, that's probably unfair but the fact of the matter remains the same...this team DID lose to the Oakland Raiders.

Super Bowl XLIV's halftime performer has been announced. To no one's surprise, it's a bunch of old white guys again! Let's hear it for playing it safe!

Dolla Dolla Bills Yall - Week 10

Week 10 brings us a special Thursday edition of DDBY.  We'll be serving up this weeks' NFL winners against the spread a day early since there is a game on tonight.  Don't worry if you're not sure which one it is - I can assure you that you probably don't care about it and would be better off just peeping the score in the morning.

DeSean Jackson has fired his agent and has signed with sports super-agent Arliss Michaels Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus conducts business with the ferosity of a penniless VH1 reality show contestant with no family to shame. He'll do what it takes to get that money. We all remember the T.O. saga.



Hmm, the most explosive player in football is due to get paid $447,000 next year? Countdown to holdout: 256 days.

Stop it. Enough is enough.I don't know how many more times I can hear this before I stab myself in the ears with a spoon.

Over the last two years, how many times have you heard some variation of the following: "Bob Sanders is out this week for the Colts. It'll be a tough game for them if he's not in the lineup. It's tough to overcome the loss of such an impact player and emotional leader like that of Sanders".

It's the most wonderful time of the year, baseball's offseason! It's like an extra Christmas, where instead of getting awesome presents like pogs, Pokemon cards and TurboGrafx-16, we get great baseball players!

This morning's front page of philly.com made a rather familiar statement - Phils Still in the Running for Halladay. That's right, the trade deadline deal that never was seems like a possibility again.

Obviously the offseason has just begun and this is nothing more than a rumor, but it sure does get you excited for the next year.

Eagles 16, Cowboys 20: Pointing Fingers!

Okay, so we lost to the Cowboys. Take a breath, let it roll around your mindgrapes for a while -- accept it. Acceptance is the first step. The second? Blame.

I could go ahead and point fingers at all of the usual suspects: Donovan McNabb, the refs, Barack Obama, my childhood, the GOP, illegal immigrants, daylight savings time, the BCS, performance enhancing drugs, the illuminati...but I'll save that for another time. For this game -- this loss -- I only have one big finger to point.
